Settlements

Congrats! You have started building your first settlement. Here are some structures you can put together. 

Every structure requires time, space, and materials. If you meet these needs, you can build them. 

Building Mechanics:

• Each day that you spend building, make an SR 15 crafting or architecture roll. 

• On success you build normally, on failure roll on the failure table below.

• On critical success you make an additional 1 hour of progress.

• Helping still works normally while building. Working in pairs allows both to benefit from the effects of help and still get the same amount of work done. 

  • • 2 people helping each other will get 2x the work done in addition to gaining the benefits of helping.

Premade structures:

Simple House:

A simple house with a stone foundation, fire place, 5 foot tall wood walls, and a wood roof.

Time: 71 hours

Space: 25 feet x 25 feet

Materials: 260 stone, 450 wood

Watch Tower:

A basic 3x3 watch tower with 3 floors, a roof, and a ladder.

Time: 95 hours

Space: 15 feet x 15 feet

Materials: 610 stone, 340 wood

Additional Floor:

The time and materials needed to add an additional floor to a watch tower.

Time: 28.5 hours

Space: 15 feet x 15 feet

Materials: 200 stone, 85 wood

Structure Pieces:

Simple Foundation:

A 5x5 stone foundation

Time: 25 hours

Space: 25 feet x 25 feet

Materials: 250 stone

Simple Wall:

A simple 5 foot tall wood wall that is 25 feet long.

Time: 5 hours

Space: 5 feet x 25 feet

Materials: 50 wood

Simple Roof:

A basic wood roof for a 5x5 structure. Does not need additional supports.

Time: 25 hours

Space: 25 feet x 25 feet

Materials: 250 wood

Stone Fireplace:

A small stone fireplace that fits in a single square.

Time: 1 hour

Space: 5 feet x 5 feet

Materials: 10 stone
